Recently, Xiangtan Steel's S500 to S620QL series of high-end structural steels passed the EU CE certification, marking a major technological breakthrough for the company in the field of high-end structural steel and giving it the qualification and capability to supply related products to the EU and global high-end markets.
The S500 to S620QL series of high-end structural steels possesses high strength, high toughness, and excellent weldability, making them core materials for ultra-large engineering machinery, heavy mining equipment, offshore platforms, and high-rise buildings. Leveraging advanced equipment such as thick plate tempering lines, the company strengthens product research and development, optimizes production processes, and overcomes technical challenges. The products exhibit excellent performance across all testing indicators, meeting EU standards in both performance and quality.
In recent years, the company has vigorously implemented the "quality and brand premiumization" strategy and has developed 56 new high-end plate products, such as Ni series steel, acid-resistant pipeline steel, and thick nuclear power steel. Seven varieties have achieved the first domestic launch, and four technologies have reached the international advanced level.
