TPEP (Three-Layer Polyethylene Anti-Corrosion Coated) steel pipe is a new type of steel-plastic composite pipe. Its full name is "Three-Layer Polyethylene Anti-Corrosion Coated Pipe."

TPEP (Three-Layer Polyethylene Anti-Corrosion Coated) steel pipe is a composite pipe with a molten plastic anti-corrosion layer formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe through a specific process. Its outer wall adopts a three-layer anti-corrosion structure, including a bottom layer of epoxy powder, a middle layer of adhesive and an outer layer of polyethylene; the inner wall adopts thermal spraying epoxy powder anti-corrosion method to form a steel-plastic alloy layer.

Key Features:

Strong Corrosion Resistance: A three-layer anti-corrosion coating and epoxy powder coating significantly enhance the pipe's corrosion resistance, extending its service life to over 50 years.
Environmental protection: Made of environmentally friendly materials, it does not contain heavy metals and other harmful substances and has no pollution to the environment.
Excellent mechanical properties: Combining the strength and rigidity of steel pipe with the chemical resistance of plastic, it has a smooth inner wall and low fluid resistance.
High economic benefits: low manufacturing cost, easy maintenance, suitable for a variety of engineering fields, and can effectively reduce engineering costs.

TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe is a steel composite pipe with a steel pipe as the base and a molten plastic anti-corrosion layer formed on the inner surface, outer surface, or inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe through a specific process. Its anti-corrosion structure is a three-layer polyethylene protective layer, namely 3PE. The TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe process adopts a three-layer structure, including a bottom anti-corrosion layer, an anti-corrosion layer and a protective layer. The function of the bottom anti-corrosion layer is to prevent the steel pipe from being oxidized and corroded, the function of the anti-corrosion layer is to improve the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe, and the protective layer is to prevent the steel pipe from being damaged.

Bottom layer: It is fused epoxy, and its main function is to form a continuous coating film, which directly bonds to the surface of the steel pipe. It has good chemical corrosion resistance and cathodic stripping resistance, and can react with the active groups of the middle layer adhesive to form chemical bonding, ensuring that the overall anti-corrosion layer has good adhesion at higher temperatures.

Middle layer: Adhesive, usually copolymer adhesive, whose main component is polyolefin, and the vinyl copolymer adhesive is widely used. Its polar functional groups can react with the epoxy groups of the fused epoxy powder coating to form hydrogen bonds or chemical bonds, so that the middle layer and the bottom layer form a good bond; and the non-polar ethylene part has a good affinity with the surface polyethylene, so the middle layer and the surface layer also have good bonding properties.

Surface layer: It is an extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer, which mainly plays a role of mechanical protection and anti-corrosion, and has the same effect as the traditional two-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion layer.
