8K stainless steel is a type of stainless steel with a smooth, mirror-like finish. Its surface is ground and polished to achieve a mirror-like finish.
8K mirror panels are corrosion-resistant and can also be processed through processes such as plating and etching. They are mainly used in various decorations or metal optical products.
The corrosion resistance of stainless steel plates mainly depends on their alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, and manganese, etc.) and internal organizational structure, among which the chromium element plays a decisive role. It can form a passivation film on the surface of steel, isolating the metal from the outside world and thus hindering oxidation, thereby enhancing the corrosion resistance of stainless steel plates.
The "8" in 8K mirror stainless steel plate refers to the proportion of alloy components. Taking 304 stainless steel plate as an example, its "8" value is the nickel content; and "K" refers to the level of reflectivity that can be achieved after the stainless steel plate is polished (K grade is the level of mirror reflection), so 8K mirror plate is the mirror grade reflected by chromium-nickel alloy.
