200 series stainless steel is a general term for chromium-manganese-nickel austenitic stainless steels. Its core characteristic is the partial substitution of expensive nickel (Ni) with manganese (Mn) and nitrogen (N), significantly reducing costs while maintaining an austenitic structure. Therefore, 200 series stainless steel is also known as "nickel-saving stainless steel."

200 Series Stainless Steel Production Process
