TISCO's Nickel-Based Alloys are Making a Strong Mark in the Global Market, Establishing a High-End International Brand

Deep in the Middle Eastern desert, crisscrossed by oil and gas pipelines, this region is a testing ground for global energy equipment, characterized by high temperatures, high pressures, and strong corrosion. In the summer of 2026, TISCO's Stainless Steel Hot Rolling Mill delivered good news: the high-end nickel-based alloy N08825 medium plate was successfully delivered to overseas customers and passed TÜV Rheinland 3.2 certification in one go. Earlier, TISCO officially won the "ticket" to become a qualified supplier for a well-known international energy company in the Middle East. This means that TISCO has used its strong capabilities to open the door to the high-end oil and gas supply chain in the Middle East, adding another bright spot to the international deep-sea competition for Chinese special steel brands.

A single certification speaks volumes.
The supplier audits for top Middle Eastern energy giants are like a "microscopic" examination—manufacturing, inspection qualifications, quality systems, and traceability capabilities are all indispensable. TISCO coordinated its marketing, technology, and production efforts, meticulously preparing for months, and successfully obtained certification in April 2026. This certificate is not only a "passport" for entering Middle Eastern oil and gas projects, but also an international endorsement of TISCO's comprehensive process management capabilities.

The "dual corrosion" challenge, achieving success in a single rolling operation.
Having secured entry, true expertise is needed. This June, TISCO's 4300mm medium-thick plate production line faced a high-end "test"—the N08825 nickel-based alloy medium plate, which required simultaneous resistance to both acid and chloride ion corrosion, placing extremely stringent demands on surface, dimensional, and internal quality.
Bill delamination, surface cracks, watermark residue, excessive inclusions, length deviations… a series of obstacles loomed ahead. The stainless steel hot rolling mill quickly assembled a task force to tackle these challenges, systematically addressing each process from billet grinding to finished product packaging.

The solution lay in "combined innovation".
Relying on a 4300mm high-power reversible rolling mill, the team broke with traditional process inertia, optimizing heating curves, strictly controlling the initial rolling temperature, and precisely dividing rolling passes to achieve single-pass rolling with a 100% product qualification rate. The new process not only ensured "zero deviation" in dimensional accuracy but also significantly shortened the cycle time, resulting in a leap in both efficiency and quality.

From "Qualified" to "Benchmark".
After passing TÜV Rheinland 3.2 certification, all product indicators met the standards perfectly and were successfully put into storage and delivered. This is not an ordinary export, but a landmark leap for TISCO's high-end corrosion-resistant alloys from "domestically leading" to "internationally recognized".

"The Middle East market has high barriers to entry, but once you cross that threshold, it's a long-term trust," said a representative from TISCO's hot rolling mill. "This successful delivery lays a solid foundation for future bulk orders and further strengthens the company's confidence in cultivating the global high-end market with specialty materials."

From qualification access to the delivery of N08825, TISCO responded to the "extreme requirements" with "extreme manufacturing". In the international race for high-end materials, Chinese steel is no longer just a "follower," but has become a "top student" under the rules through innovative processes and system capabilities. In the future, TISCO will continue to expand its reach overseas, enabling more "Made in China" products to shine on the world's oil and gas map.
