On May 27, the J150a2-type mast channel steel (Prices) product, customized and developed by Shandong Steel for a well-known Chinese forklift company, was successfully trial-rolled on the special-shaped production line of Shandong Steel's section steel plant, further enriching the product portfolio of Shandong Steel's mast channel steel series.
The mast channel steel (Introduction) is a key load-bearing component of the forklift mast, and its straightness directly affects the stability of the forklift lifting system and the overall performance of the machine. This time, the customer requested an upgrade for the development of a high-end model, demanding even higher standards for product straightness.
The Shandong Steel's production, sales, and R&D teams worked closely together, implementing meticulous control over the entire process from die design and rolling technology to cooling and straightening. Through repeated optimization of process parameters, they successfully overcame the challenge of controlling high straightness. The new product's dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, surface quality, and other indicators all met the customer's requirements, achieving a successful trial production on the first attempt.
