Recently, the first coil of TC4 titanium alloy sheet produced by Pangang Group was successfully completed, marking a key breakthrough for Pangang Group in the field of deep processing of high-end titanium alloy sheets and filling the gap in the mass production of related high-end titanium materials.

TC4 titanium alloy is currently the most widely used high-end titanium material with the most balanced comprehensive performance. It has advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance, and is widely used in high-end equipment and 3C precision component manufacturing.

This production relied on the Xichang Steel & Vanadium 2050mm hot rolling mill and its complete supporting processes to achieve closed-loop production, ensuring that product performance and specifications precisely matched user needs. Pangang Group Shenyang Titanium Industry Co., Ltd., Pangang Research Institute, and Xichang Steel & Vanadium Plate Plant collaborated to overcome technical challenges in processes such as billet preparation, hot rolling, annealing, pickling, and finishing. They strictly controlled key aspects including composition control, billet processing, and controlled rolling temperature, successfully tackling technical difficulties such as edge cracking, precision deviations, and surface cracking that commonly occur during titanium alloy rolling. This enabled one-time product forming, successfully producing 3.75mm specification hot-rolled coils.

The TC4 titanium alloy coils that rolled off the production line this time will be mainly used in the 3C equipment field, for manufacturing precision electronic components and high-end corrosion-resistant equipment, with broad market prospects. The successful production of this product also provides solid support for the high-quality development of Pangang Group's new materials industry.
