Recently, the hot-rolled coil products of Donggang Malaysia, an overseas subsidiary of Jianlong Group, successfully passed the rigorous audit of the Italian ICMQ organization EPDItaly© and obtained the ISO14025 standard Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification. This is the second EPD certificate officially recognized by the EU that the company has obtained, marking another key step in its construction of a green product system in the EU market.
It is understood that the EPD Environmental Product Declaration takes the full life cycle LCA assessment as its core basis, comprehensively quantifies the carbon footprint, energy consumption and environmental impact of steel products, and is a universally recognized authoritative certificate for global green trade. It is also a core entry threshold for the EU CBAM carbon tariff and international green procurement in engineering projects. The successful completion of this certification signifies that Donggang Malaysia's hot-rolled coils (Prices) have met international standards in terms of environmental performance and sustainability, and are now officially eligible for green market access in the European Union.

As a key component of Jianlong Group's global strategy, Donggang Steel Malaysia serves as a core platform for the group's response to the "Belt and Road" initiative and its deep cultivation of the Southeast Asian market. It has established a modern steel manufacturing system that is fully integrated, intelligent, and low-carbon. The company possesses a 1450mm hot-rolled coil production line with a designed annual capacity of 3.5 million tons. It can produce high-quality hot-rolled coils with thicknesses ranging from 1.2 to 25.4mm and widths from 700 to 1300mm, with thickness accuracy consistently controlled within ±0.10mm and shape control reaching advanced industry levels.
To date, the company has achieved full EPD certification coverage for its two core products, crude steel and hot-rolled coils (Introduction), establishing a systematic, traceable, and internationally aligned product environmental data management system. This provides strong support for further expansion into high-end markets such as the EU, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and for participating in international green competition.
