Recently, Jingye Yingkou Medium Plate successfully delivered its first batch of export ship plates ordered by the Turkish Classification Society, successfully expanding into the high-end Turkish shipbuilding market and achieving a new breakthrough in overseas business.
The order totaled 5,018 tons, with shipbuilding plate (Prices) thickness ranging from 6 to 50 mm, covering two grades: TL-A and TL-A 36. As the company's first order from the Turkish classification society, this project presented numerous challenges. Firstly, this is the first time we have partnered with the Turkish Classification Society (TCS), and the existing standardized inspection procedures and compliance systems cannot be directly applied. We need to complete the qualification adaptation and process confirmation separately. Secondly, there are no mature ship inspection cooperation models and procedures to refer to. We need to start from scratch and implement the entire process of reporting and inspection requirements item by item. Thirdly, the quality control system in the Turkish marine market has always been strict, which poses a great challenge to the stability of the company's production process and the accuracy of quality control.
To ensure the smooth fulfillment of orders, Yingkou Medium Plate Technology Center, in collaboration with the sales department, shipyard, and Turkish Classification Society, held extensive discussions to finalize the single-batch, single-inspection ship inspection model, clarify technical and inspection standards, and customize a special production plan based on local regulations and the actual production site conditions. During the production phase, meticulous management and control were implemented throughout the entire process, and quality control was strictly enforced at each stage. Ultimately, all product performance indicators met the standards, and the project was completed and delivered 3 days ahead of schedule.
The successful completion of this first order marks a significant milestone for Jingye Yingkou Medium Plate in aligning with the international market, fully demonstrating its strong capabilities in technological breakthroughs, quality control, and contract fulfillment. Moving forward, the company will continue to optimize its production processes, expand its overseas customer resources, focus on customer needs, adhere to international material standards, and work hand in hand with customers for mutual benefit and win-win results.
