Henan Iron and Steel Group Anyang base recently made significant progress in the field of high-end steel materials research and development, successfully broke through the Mn25 high manganese steel, Mn13 high manganese wear-resistant steel and nickel-based high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloy N10276, such as the production of key materials bottlenecks, highlighting the enterprise's strong strength in the field of high-end materials manufacturing.

In the early morning of August 8, the 150-ton converter-furnace coil mill production line of the base successfully completed the production of Mn13 high manganese wear-resistant steel, and set a new record of three consecutive furnaces pulling steel. By adopting the weak cold control process of continuous casting, it effectively solved the long-existing process problems such as surface cracks on the billet and leakage of casting steel, and laid a solid foundation for the large-scale mass production of this product.

On the same day, 1780mm hot rolling unit realized a new breakthrough in rolling technology of nickel-based alloy N10276. This “super alloy” with excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature performance is widely used in chemical industry, aerospace and other high-end fields. On the basis of the first successful rolling on July 25, the production stability was further improved by optimizing the process and precisely controlling the key parameters.

In the evening of the same day, the furnace coil production line successfully rolled Mn25 high manganese steel, marking the product from smelting to rolling the whole process of the process officially through. This material, with its excellent ultra-low temperature performance, has important application value in the field of liquefied natural gas storage tanks.
