Recently, Bensteel Group has successfully developed a series of steels for hydrogen pipelines, including L245MH, L360MH, and L415MH. This series of products not only maintains the good strength, toughness, forming and welding properties of traditional pipeline steels, but also shows good hydrogen resistance in multi-dimensional experiments under pure hydrogen environments, which can meet the use requirements of pipeline steels under high-pressure pure hydrogen environments. The successful development of this series of products has achieved a new breakthrough in Bensteel Materials and helped the transformation of the country's energy structure.
In recent years, my country's policy support for the hydrogen energy industry has significantly increased. As the "main artery" for the development of the hydrogen energy industry, hydrogen pipelines are key infrastructure for the large-scale, long-distance and stable transportation of hydrogen energy. They shoulder the strategic mission of solving the cross-regional allocation of hydrogen energy, promoting the consumption of renewable energy, and supporting the coordinated development of the entire industrial chain.
Bensteel Technology Center organized R&D technical backbones to form a project "vanguard team" to conduct in-depth research on the development needs of the national hydrogen energy industry, actively explore technological innovation paths, and solve the manufacturing problems of hydrogen pipeline steel. Through interdisciplinary research, the center broke professional barriers, bridged the technological gap, and carried out a series of work such as a hydrogen damage mechanism model, material design, alloy scheme, and process development. It successfully completed the research and development tasks of L245MH, L360MH, L415MH and other series of hydrogen pipeline steel, and the products were recognized by industry experts.
In the future, Bensteel Group will continue to increase its investment in the research and development of hydrogen energy steel, accelerate the coordinated layout of hydrogen energy infrastructure and wind and solar hydrogen production bases, and help my country accelerate the green transformation of the new energy system.
