Insufficient galvanized layer thickness will directly affect the product's service life. The reasons for insufficient galvanized layer thickness are as follows:

1. Influence of zinc solution temperature. When the zinc solution temperature is below 430℃, the zinc-iron diffusion rate is low, making it difficult to form a sufficient iron-zinc alloy layer, resulting in a thin coating. When the temperature is 460℃, the zinc layer thickens. As the temperature continues to rise, the zinc solution becomes thinner, and the zinc layer becomes thinner again. Therefore, the zinc solution temperature must be strictly controlled to ensure the stability of the strip steel quality.

2. Influence of the residence time of the strip steel in the zinc solution. The residence time of the strip steel in the zinc solution has a certain range. It is determined according to the thickness of the strip steel. As the galvanizing time is extended, the coating thickness will increase, but excessively extending the galvanizing time will make the zinc solution brittle, which will negatively affect the quality.

3. Influence of the method of removing the galvanized parts from the zinc solution. Galvanized parts should be removed vertically from the zinc solution. If the strip steel is removed at an angle, the zinc solution will be thinner. Therefore, the strip steel should be drawn out of zinc solution pot vertically.
