A

Q235 steel is a common carbon structural steel. Its yield point is 235 MPa. Its elongation is 21-26%.

20# steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel with a precisely controlled carbon content (0.17%-0.24%). The normalized yield point of 20# steel is 245 MPa, with an elongation >25%, and the quenched and tempered yield point is 280 MPa, with an elongation >22%.

Although the yield strengths of Q235 and 20# steel are similar (the standard yield strength of Q235 is 235 MPa, while that of 20# steel is around 245 MPa), 20# steel exhibits slightly better tensile strength and elongation. 20# steel also offers better weldability.

Q235 is a carbon structural steel, and 20# steel is more expensive than Q235 steel.
