Recently, HE600M European standard high-strength H-beams (Prices) were successfully trial-rolled on a large production line at Shandong Steel's section steel plant. Testing revealed that the product's mechanical properties, dimensions, and other indicators all met user requirements, marking a significant breakthrough for Shandong Steel in the research and development of high-end steel products. This further enriches Shandong Iron & Steel Group's high-end steel product portfolio and enhances the market competitiveness of its steel products. Currently, the product is ready for mass production.

HE600M is a high-performance wide-flange H-beam, characterized by its large cross-section, thick flange, high yield strength, and excellent load-bearing stability. It is widely used in the construction of heavy industrial plants, super high-rise buildings, long-span bridges, and offshore platforms.

To ensure successful product development, the technical team developed a detailed contingency plan for the entire process; the rolling process strictly controls the finished product's dimensional parameters and surface quality to ensure dimensional accuracy; and the finishing process optimizes the straightening process to eliminate shape defects. By precisely controlling the heating temperature and rolling rhythm, the internal structure of the product is uniform and its mechanical properties are stable and meet the standards.
