Recently, 8.46 tons of 4.0/5.0 double-sided indented steel wire, manufactured by the Metal Products Division of Mingguang Industrial Company, were successfully delivered to a client in Thailand, marking the product's successful entry into the overseas market.

Double-sided indented steel wire is primarily used for the reinforcement of 10kV–220kV spun concrete poles (ranging from high to low voltage). The double-sided indented structure enhances the bond between the steel wire and the concrete, effectively improving the structural stability of the poles and extending the service life of the components.

To precisely meet the technical standards and customization requirements of the overseas client, multiple departments within Mingguang Industrial Company collaborated closely to tackle technical challenges. The marketing team actively managed the order, while the technical team formulated production procedures compliant with Thai standards. The production team dynamically optimized coiling parameters to meet the client's specific coil diameter requirements, monitored wire temperatures in real-time across drawing stages, and strictly controlled every step of the drawing and forming process. Additionally, the equipment team upgraded the pay-off mechanism from passive to active pay-off, significantly reducing tangling issues and stabilizing product quality. Rigorous testing confirmed that the batch met all requirements of the Thai standard TIS4-1-2529-1986 regarding dimensional accuracy, appearance, and surface quality.

This successful export has further expanded the company's product portfolio of prestressed steel wire (Prices) and successfully opened up international sales channels for the product.
